More Muslims Killing Muslims ... in Pakistan

Updated September 20, 2011

A motorcycle bomb has killed at least five people and wounded more than two dozen others at a market selling CDs in the northwestern Pakistani city of Peshawar.

Nobody has claimed responsibility for the attack, but Taliban militants have bombed music shops in several northwestern towns in the past, saying there is no room for music in Islam.

In a separate incident in Pakistan's commercial city of Karachi, at least eight people have died after a suicide bomber drove a car loaded with explosives into the home of a senior police officer.

Senior Superintendent Chaudhry Aslam escaped the attack unscathed. He's head of Karachi's counter-terrorism unit, credited with breaking up Islamist militant cells in the city.

The Pakistani Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack and say they will continue to target police officers.
